In Loving Memory of

Ronald John Schriver

October 24, 1935 – November 1, 2022

Ron Schriver was larger than life, always looking for new adventures, he

was a wonderful, strong father, loving caring husband, loyal friend and a

very PROUD Marine.  Ron captured your attention when he came into the room,

he loved to tell  stories and was quite the prankster.  Ron lived by the Marine

Corp creed “Semper Fidelis” Latin for “Always  Faithful”, Honor, Courage, and

Commitment. He loved to talk to anyone and everyone about the Marine Corp

years it truly was his happy place.  Ron loved his adventures with his wife Karen,

traveling, get togethers with family and friends, shopping and just laying low in

the house enjoying each others company.  Visits from his two daughters always led

to laughter and stories, keeping the time precious and dear.  They truly loved their

“Poppy”.  Ronald John Schriver lived 87 years young, he died peacefully at home

with his loving wife next to him on Tuesday November 1st, 2022.  He was born

October 24th, 1935 to Ernest and Cordelia Schriver in Elroy, WI. He graduated

from Fall River High School and served in the Marine Corp from 1957 to 1963.

He moved to Mesa Arizona in 1988 with his wife Karen enjoying a life

without snow.  Ron is survived by his wife Karen: His 2 children Toni Schriver,

Julie David and their mother Barbara Schriver (his first wife) all from Madison, WI,

2 grandchildren, Aaron and Alisha David: and 2 step-children, Kelly (Rodney) Kritz

of Janesville, WI and Terry (Pam) Whaples of Milan, IN.  He will always stay forever

in our hearts, he will be truly missed and there will be comfort in our hearts and sou

knowing he is looking after us from heaven.  Peace until we see you again

Once a Marine, Always a Marine

Loving and kind in all his ways,

Upright and Just to the end of his days.

Sincere and true in his heart and mind,

A beautiful memory he left behind

He had a nature you could not help loving,

A heart that was purer than gold:

And to those who knew him and loved him,

His memory will never grow cold.
