Forever In the Hearts They Leave Behind

Ronald Lee Rollins

June 2, 1941 – January 11, 2024

Ronald Lee Rollins passed away on January 11, 2024, surrounded by family. Ronald was born to Wallace Norman Rollins Jr. and Eara Pauline King on June 2, 1941, in So. Boston, Virginia. He was the second oldest in a family of five: Norman Pierce, Cecil Wayne, Regina Kay, and Donna Gay. He graduated from Tempe high school in 1960. He married the woman of his dreams, the dark-haired beauty, Joyce Ann Richardson, on July 24,1965.  His life was full of crazy, fun adventures and hard work. Following in his father’s footsteps, he worked as a grocery man all of his life. He succeeded in his dream, to own his own grocery stores. He opened his first store in Tempe, Arizona, called Rollins Family Market. He has owned grocery stores in Pine, Heber, and Pinetop. After selling his businesses he worked for Bashas grocery store for 14 years. He would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it.  He loved to serve; in fact, all who came into his home felt welcomed and loved. He loved his family and the Lord, and he lived his life for them. He is honored by his eternal companion, Ann Rollins, and his five children: Christy, the one and only, Daniel, the favorite, Kelly, his green-eyed baby, Debbie, the secret favorite, and Matthew, the one they finally got right. He has 18 grandkids, 4 great grandkids, and many souls who called him, Dad.
