Russell “Wayne” McClurg, 81, of Apache Junction, AZ, formerly of Hammond, IN passed away on Saturday, March 27, 2021. He is survived by his two sons: Russell (Diana) McClurg of Chandler, AZ and Michael (Melissa) McClurg of Chesterton, IN; one niece, Leslie (Jim) Pospychala of Griffith, IN; and one nephew, Kevin (Lisa) McClurg of Crown Point, IN. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Suzanne McClurg; one brother Jerry (Velma) McClurg, and his parents William and Lucille (Kirby) McClurg. Wayne was a lifetime barber, once owning his own barber shop in Hammond, IN in the 60’s. The memorial service will be at 1:00 pm Friday, April 2, 2021 at Mountain View Chapel, 7900 E Main St., Mesa, AZ 85207.
