Ruth E. Tirpak, 89 of Mesa, AZ passed away November 5, 2011 at Lund Hospice Home in Gilbert, AZ. Ruth is survived by her children John (Lily) Tirpak and Randy (Pam) Tirpak, both of Chandler, AZ, grandchildren Doug (Lydia) Tirpak of Golden, CO and Melissa Tirpak af Chandler, AZ, her sisters-in-law Eleanor Sabo and Faye Tirpak, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband John T. Tirpak, parents Frank and Esther (Fredrickson) Adams, brothers Don and Carroll Adams and her sister Lavonne (England) Moore. She retired as a personnel and insurance clerk from IRC Fibers in Painesville, OH after more than 25 years of service and moved to Mesa, AZ in 1988. Ruth played the organ for the Sunland Village Chapel for 20 years. She was a member of Fairport Harbor Yacht Club, Sweet Adelines and B.P.O.E. #549 Emblem Club. She was also an avid golfer and loved bowling. She also was a huge fan and enjoyed watching the Phoenix Suns and the AZ Diamondbacks. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Sunshine Acres Children’s Home, 3405 N. Higley Rd., Mesa, AZ 85215.
