Ruth Jackie Kinney
1932 – 2026
Ruth Jacklyn Stryker Kinney, age 94, of Show Low, Arizona, died on October 11, 2026, at Beehive Assisted Living in Snowflake, Arizona. She was born on July 13, 1932, in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. Her parents were Vincent and Alice Stryker of Frenchtown, New Jersey.
Jackie graduated from Frenchtown High School in 1949. She joined the US Army the following year where she served in the Women’s Army Corps (WAC). In January 1956, she married Jason Kinney and they raised seven children together. Her children were her pride and joy, and she loved visiting with them and all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Jackie remained close friends with several of her high school classmates and enjoyed traveling with them.
Jackie was preceded in death by her husband, Jason, and her son, Richard. She is survived by her daughters Christine (John) Gordeuk, Carlesse Combs Ohlhaver, Viola Kinney, and sons Todd (Kathy) Kinney, Bill Kinney and Kenneth (Dana) Kinney; 12 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.
At Jackie’s request, there will be no visitation or funeral service.
