Ruth Priscilla Berger was born in Newark and raised in Irvington, NJ. In the fall of 1943, she met and fell in love with Robert Littell Jr. and on February 1, 1944 became Ruth Littell. During Ruth’s life she raised three sons and co-owned several restaurants and catering businesses with her husband in the Pleasant Valley, NY area. In retirement, Robert and Ruth moved to Apache Junction and most recently to Mesa, AZ. Ruth passed away from this life on February 24, 2010 following a brief illness. She is survived by her husband Robert and son Edward of Mesa, AZ. Ruth is also survived by her sister Ann of Philadelphia, PA, daughter-in-law Barbara of Utica, NY, 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by both parents and two sons, Robert III and Stephen. Visitation for Ruth will be at Mountain View Funeral Home, 7900 E. Main St., Mesa, AZ from 1-3:00 pm Monday March 1, 2010 with services to follow at 3:00pm.
