Scott Willard LeRoy passed on Friday May 7, 2021 after a failed cardiac catherization.  He has been married to Isabel Hernandez LeRoy since 1974.  They have two sons Jesse and Nicholas, daughter-in-law(s) Michelle and Kayla, and four grandchildren, Adisen, Jovanna, Nico and Avery.

Scott is preceded in death by his son Nicholas, childhood sister Linda, parents Willard and Joyce LeRoy.  Scott is survived by his wife Isabel and son Jesse, his daughters-in-laws, his brothers Mark (Kathy), Chris (Fany) and sister Diane (son Chad).

Scott had a colorful career which encompassed education and books.  He was a Head Start teacher, a senior manager at Barnes & Noble, worked for America West Airlines and at the University of Phoenix.  When he retired, he still worked with people and books on a part time basis at the City of Phoenix Library.

In his long and vast life and career, Scott touched lives by being loyal, loving, extremely quick witted, sharp tongued and by sharing his dangerously dry humor.  No one was safe.

Scott was loved by many and will be remembered for many decades to come.

I am so saddened to hear of your passing Scott. While we only met a few times, you were a huge supporter of my photography and always encouraged me to give it everything I had. Thank you for always pushing me to be a better person and to always pursue my dreams. You’re pain free now, you can rest peacefully with the angels.

Scott had an incredible quick witted sense of humor and loved to tease. He was also the most caring, considerate person and was there for everyone any time of the day or night. He helped so many people everyday and had a way to make everyone feel like they were special. I miss you terribly my friend!!!!

Maybe selfish, but really wish you were here, my gentle big brother.
