Sean Matthew Krauss, 42, of Apache Junction passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2020 at his home.

He was born September 13, 1977 in St. Louis, Missouri and grew up in Tempe, Arizona.

Sean graduated from ASU with a Masters in Structural Engineering and a BSE in Civil Engineering.

He was extremely kind, generous, and encouraging.  He helped many people go to and get through school.  He always made it a point to say hello to others and strike up conversations with them.  He was taking German classes and enjoyed visiting the sites in Germany.  He made the best pizzas after his favorite pizza, Cusanelli’s.  He enjoyed cooking and baking.  He followed ASU, AZ Cardinals, and the St. Louis Cardinals.  He had a heart for animals and his dogs.

He is preceded in death by his twin brother Bret Krauss, his Grandma and Grandpa Leeker, and his cousin Eric Leeker.

Sean is survived by his mom and dad Debra and Ronald Hunt; his sister Jessica Knopf as well as a host of extended family, friends, and neighbors.

Memorial donations may be made to the Apache Junction Humane Society at Paws & Claws Care Center
