Sheridan Moore, a humble, cheerful and kind-hearted man, was born on June 18, 1939, and peacefully passed away on April 22, 2025. Known for his hard work, dedication and unwavering love for Jesus Christ, Sheridan spent his life in service to others, leaving a legacy of kindness, family dedication, and an invaluable example of how to treat others.

His greatest accomplishments include being a loving father to his eight children and a devoted husband, married in the temple to his wife. He proudly served in the US Army and was a successful entrepreneur, owning several businesses. Nonetheless, his generous spirit and constant willingness to help others defined his life more than any professional achievement.

Sheridan is survived by his sons, Joseph, Paul, Thomas, Gary, and John Moore, and his daughters, Charlotte Madison, Jennifer Miller, and Deborah Merrick. He is also survived by his wife, Nancy Murray. He was predeceased by his wife, Catherine (Ruth) Mathisen (Moore).

Those who had the pleasure of knowing Sheridan will remember him for his dedication to family, his willingness to help others, and his teachings about Jesus Christ. A remarkable example of fatherhood, his loving and caring nature will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. As we mourn his loss, we also celebrate his life and the extraordinary lessons he graciously shared
