February 24, 1947 – June 6, 2022


Shirley Marie Schwengels was born February 24, 1947 in Janesville, Wisconsin. The family made the move from Wisconsin to Mesa, Arizona in 1957, and have been here ever since.

Her growing up years included fun times of camping, fishing, hiking, swimming, and seeing the beautiful places of Arizona. There were vacations to many other states as well.

Shirley graduated from Mesa Highschool. She worked at a couple of different factory jobs before going to work with Motorola where she made capacitors. That was her career until they went out of business. She finished her working days at Express Scripts doing mail order prescription services.

Shirley lived a simple life. She loved the Lord. She loved to read and enjoyed baking. She and her best friend baked for everyone. They made lots of cookies, fancy ones too, breads, fudge, candy, all different kinds, and peanut brittle. She also enjoyed also enjoyed family get-togethers and playing cards. She just enjoyed life and did not worry too much about anything. She will be loved and missed by all.
