Sidney Ray Rackley

July 31, 1942 – March 11, 2024


Sidney Ray Rackley, born July 31st, 1942, in Jayton, Texas, peacefully passed away on March 11th, 2024. He was preceded in death by his devoted parents, Pinkey and Maudie Rackley, as well as his beloved daughter, Debbie.
Sidney’s legacy lives on through his five children, twelve grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Gabby Rackley, and nephew Kenneth and Karen Brown.

Having spent a significant portion of his life in Arkansas, Sidney was the proud owner and operator of a dairy farm. Later, he relocated to Arizona following his family, where he embraced various roles as a jack of all trades, from landscaping to building custom homes. Construction was not just a profession for Sidney; it was his passion. He found joy in operating tractors on construction sites, leaving an indelible mark on the projects he touched.

A man of unwavering dedication and strong work ethic, Sidney instilled these values in his children, whom he cherished dearly. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. Sidney Ray Rackley will be deeply missed, and may he find eternal peace.

A graveside service will be held at Mountain View Funeral Home.
