Our beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, Soila A. Saldana, age 90, died in Glendale, AZ on January 17, 2017. Born in Harlingen, Texas on February 26 1926, Soila was preceded in death by her husband, Alejandro G. Saldana and 4 great-grandchildren. Soila is survived by one son, Alex Saldana, 3 daughters, hilda amador, olga Burke, Elizabeth Leigh, and their husbands, Robert Amador, Leroy Burke, Ted Leigh, 8 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, one great, great child and 2 sisters.
A private ceremony for immediate family will be held.
Our family sends our deepest sympathy. We have such wonderful memories of our times together in Superior especially when our parents got together to play cards or Chinese checkers or we ran back & forth between our houses.
I remember fondly the great time Lou & I had in Lakeside helping her get settled once more in your little home. All such great memories she will always have a special place in our hearts.
