Stacey Lynne Wilson, age 50, passed away on Tuesday, November 8 after a very courageous battle with colorectal cancer. From the moment she was born she brought joy to everyone she met. When Stacey walked into a room you were moved by her beautiful smile and positive energy.
Stacey fought a very hard battle with courage, grace and resilience but as she said herself, “I am not going to let cancer define me”. She lived life to the fullest and her excitement and passion were contagious. Stacey was so grateful to be reunited with her childhood sweetheart, RyanWilson, and they were married in June of 2020. He filled her with love, support and happiness.

Stacey was born on December 3, 1971 and is survived by her husband, Ryan Wilson, and her
parents, Sandi Matthews and Timothy Kohl (Becky), and also her “bonus” dad, Mike
Matthews. She is also survived by her children, Zachary Truman, Justin Truman,
Cameron Truman, Tyler Truman, and Grace Truman and her “bonus” son, Bryce
Wilson. Her children are the mirror image of their amazing Mother. Stacey’s sisters,
Lisa Dean and Lori Palumbo (Joe), along with her brother, David Gwynn, will deeply
miss their sister who is truly their forever friend. She is also survived by her “bonus”
siblings, Stephanie Antoun (Ramsey), Meagan Kyle, Jenny Boll (Brian) and Michael
Matthews (Fabio Andrade). Stacey truly loved her thirteen nieces and nephews –
Taylor, Alex, Lauren, Jackson, Elliott, Caroline, Josephine, Logan, Carson, Olivia,
Paxton, Isabella and Sophia.
As a young girl, Stacey was very involved in many activities such as dance, choir,
Poms and theater. Her love of country music and concerts continued throughout her
life. Stacey loved to travel but her greatest love was being the best and most devoted
mother, wife, daughter, sister and friend to everyone she knew. At 14, Stacey started
working at a candy shop at the mall and her entrepreneurial spirit remained strong –
most notably a Zumba studio. Even during her battle with cancer she worked hard as
a Colorstreet stylist and was one of the originating stylists when the company was
founded. There are truly no words to describe the emptiness that everyone who knew
and loved Stacey is feeling. If you were ever lucky enough to meet this beautiful and
amazing woman you know that Stacey’s spirit is shining brightly as God’s newest
angel. This is her gift to the world and Stacey has now entered Heaven and enjoying
the best beach ever – her happy place!

Stacey’s Celebration of Life will be held on
Sunday, December 4, 2022 at 11:00AM at Colby Falls Event Center, 4635 E. Baseline
