Tammy Jo Wesolowski, née Colland, of Mesa, Arizona, passed away peacefully on October 8, 2026, at the age of 66. She was born on April 5, 1960, in Mount Pleasant, Pennsylvania, to the late John and Jacquelyn (Herbert) Colland.

Tammy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, educator, and friend whose greatest joy was her family. She married the love of her life, Keith “Pip” Wesolowski, in December 1997. Together, they built a life filled with family, laughter, friendship, and travel.

Tammy was incredibly proud of her children and encouraged them to make good decisions, work hard, and reach their full potential. She loved nothing more than having everyone together.

Tammy earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from California University of Pennsylvania and dedicated her career to helping young people. She worked as a teacher and guidance counselor in the Southmoreland School District, where she ultimately retired. She had a genuine gift for connecting with children and left a lasting impact on many of her students.

Tammy was a true social butterfly with many dear friends. She was a passionate Pittsburgh sports fan who loved cooking, listening to music, and especially traveling. She and Pip traveled extensively, taking cruises and exploring places around the world with their friends. Tammy loved golf and was especially proud to be the first in her family to get a hole-in-one.

She loved warm weather and eventually moved to Arizona to be closer to her grandchildren. But no matter where she lived, Tammy was always planning her next adventure. Her Christmas Eve celebrations in Scottdale were legendary, filled with food, friends, family, and the traditions she loved.

Tammy is survived by her beloved husband, Keith “Pip” Wesolowski; her children, Courtney Lynn McHugh, Joshua Adam Costelnock and his wife, Jeannette, Zachary John Costelnock and his wife, Cara, Christina (Wesolowski) Bobeck and her husband, Donald, and Keith (Patrick) Wesolowski and fiancé Stella; her grandchildren, Benjamin Costelnock, Natalie Costelnock, Scarlett Costelnock, Isla Costelnock, Anjel Bobeck, Dylan Bobeck, Theresa Wesolowski, Colin McCarley, Liam McCarley, and Gracie McCarley; her niece, Cassandra Ann Colland; and her sister-in-law, Ronna Colland.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Jacquelyn (Herbert) Colland, and her brother, John E. Colland.

Tammy will be remembered for the love she gave so freely to Pip, her children, her grandchildren, and her nieces and nephews. Her family will carry her love, her traditions, and her unwavering belief in them for the rest of their lives.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Tammy’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, a cause that was close to her heart.

A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
