Terry Jean Sway Gisler, born August 15, 1943 in Belleville, IL, passed away Sunday November 24, 2013 after a long battle fighting colon cancer and subsequent kidney failure. She leaves behind her husband, Joe, her daughter, Cristin Marie Bradley, and son, Gregory Joseph Gisler. Terry’s career spanned seven decades of a very fruitful life. She graduated from the University of Florida with a BS in Chemistry. Terry and Joe met at Florida, married there and after Joe finished graduate school, they moved to Philadelphia. The early part of Terry’s life she spent raising her children, seeing that they were well educated, and into successful careers. She and the family traveled extensively, living in Virginia, Oregon, Germany, Florida, New Hampshire, Utah, and finally Apache Junction, Arizona. After the children were grown, she became an International Travel Agent and traveled widely in China, South America, Russia, Europe, Israel, and Southeast Asia. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, her children, four granddaughters, Emily, Bonnie, Caroline, and Ashley, and her father, Eugene Sway. She will be sorely missed by all. A gathering for all friends and acquaintances will be held at the family residence Sunday December 1 after 3:00 pm.
