Dr. Thomas F. McCann, Capt. DC USN Ret. passed away on September 25, 2015.  He was born in Pittsburgh, PA on February 11, 1923 to John and Agnes McCann.  His is survived by Jean,  his loving wife of 70 years, daughters Diane and Debora and son Denis (Margaret).  Son Thomas preceded his father in death.  He is survived by 8 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.  Tom graduated from Central Catholic High School and University of Pittsburgh Dental School. He proudly served his country for 42 years as a pilot (during WWII and the Korean War) and subsequently as an oral surgeon.  During his career, Thomas and his family travelled to all four corners of the United States, including Hawaii, as well as around the globe to Ethiopia and the Philippines.  He is also survived by brothers John and Jerome, sisters Mary Kelcha, Agnes Drinski and Kathleen Koslof.
