  1. Jim Sargis says:

He was a “Great & Dear” friend and will always be in our hearts. The memories are unbelievable and will never be forgotten. When I let the kids know of his passing, they had so many memories that they shared with me. His Smile, the Pancake Breakfast when he served you the Special dish, the “BEST” Grasshopper maker in Bloomindale, the Haunted House @ Du Gardin, deer hunting with the boys, his Kindness. Most of all, letting Sargis/Rivkin stay with you when we came back from CA. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. We can never “Thank You” enough for allowing us to be your friends. Oh, I forgot, the best. When Tom & I went out for our after Thanksgiving lunch. We came to my house to meet you & others, Bertie opened the door, she was shocked to see him. He said, “You ought to see him, if you think I’m bad”. It was a heck of an evening.
