Thomas “Tommy” Martin Acedo Sr., was born on December 31, 1954. He went to heaven on January 13, 2019, at the age of 64, after a short battle with cancer. He was surrounded in love by his sons and many other family members.
Tommy was survived by his four sons, Tommy Jr. (Joanna), Abrian (Melissa), Andy (Celest), Phillip (Victoria), 15 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, siblings, Oscar (Sherry), Melva (Hector), Selma (Willie), Elva “Peaches”.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Dalia Acedo. Tommy will be remembered for his heart of gold, quiet spirit, and his hard work ethic, that all of his sons inherited. He was taken from us too soon and will be missed dearly.
“Dad we all love you and we’ll miss you. Not a day will go by that we won’t think of you. We will see you soon, can’t wait to hear your voice and laugh again. Most of all, to hear you say, “how you doing boy!?” We know you are in paradise. Love you Dad!!”
A “Celebration of Life” will be held for Tommy, on Saturday, March 2nd at 5:00 p.m. at The American Legion, 750 N Grande Ave, Tucson, Az 85745. Everyone is invited for a great time of remembrance.
