Tiane Limsakoune passed away on August 13, 2010 in Phoenix, AZ. He was 84 years old. Tiane was born on April 5, 1926 in Vientiane, Laos. He owned and managed several businesses. From manufacturing clothes for the military to building the largest movie theatre of its time in Laos, Tiane was a successful and savvy businessman. In 1976, Tiane immigrated to the United States and settled in Arizona. Tiane was a witty, tough-loving brother and father that left behind his two younger sisters and one younger brother. He is also survived by his 10 children – Phet Many, Phet Yang, Ted Lim, Grace Lim, Tony Lim, Phetla Limsakoune, Lanoi Limsakoune, Chacphet Limsakoune, Thanya Limsakoune, and Yi Limsakoune- and 16 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Tiane will forever be loved and missed. The visitation will be between 9-10 am Sunday August 15, 2010 with the funeral service following at 10:00 am both at Mountain View Funeral Home Chapel, 7900 E. Main St., Mesa, AZ (480-832-2850).
