Velva Jean Wilkins, 91, passed away on June 8, 2026, in the loving embrace of her family in Mesa, Arizona.

Velva was born in Eden, Arizona on August 15, 1934 to Ollie and Ralph Wilkins. She spent her life devoted to her family and raised both her own children and any in need of a Mother’s touch. She was known for her love of gardening, genealogy, and acts of service. She found joy in spending time with her great grandchildren, grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She always opened her home and her arms to any in need.

Velva is survived by two daughters and two sons, Laura, Kelly, Mark, and Lily. She will be met in heaven by her husband, Larry, and son, Wayne.

The Funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at 10 A.M. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Pine, AZ. Following the memorial service, a luncheon will be held at the church.
