Verne (Toby) Jackson, born October 31, 1929 in Eatonia, Saskatchewan, passed away on November 23 after a four year battle with emphysema. His loving wife of 15 years, Luell, was by his side. Cheerful to the end Verne was full of life and love. He will be remembered and deeply missed by all those who had the opportunity to know him through his music, golf, building, designing, or as a fun-loving card player. Verne had a heart of gold. He will be sadly missed and never forgotten by his wife, Luell, sons Barry, Arron and Terry, grandchildren Chris, Tyler and Laura, brother Lyle Jackson and his wife Phyllis, sister Lorna, nephews, nieces and Luell’s children Lexie, LuAnn, John and their families. A celebration of Verne’s life will be held on Sunday December 6 at noon, at Venture Out Oasis, 5001 E. Main St., Mesa, AZ. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Activity Office, Venture Out for the Memorial Fund.
