Vivian Arlene Miller was born in Sharon, PA on September 10, 1929 to William C. Miller and Nellie Hawley Miller Rodgers. She departed this life on September 24, 2011 at Hospice of the Valley in Mesa, AZ. She graduated from Elwood City, PA High School and worked for many years in the insurance industry in Sharon, PA and Mesa, AZ. She moved to Mesa, in 1977, where she made her home for the last 34 years. She was a member of the East University Church of God in Mesa, AZ. She held many offices over the years to name a few: church secretary, President of the WCG (Women of the Church of God), pulpit committee, etc. Her favorite service was singing in the choir, praise team and solos. She loved her Lord and her church. She served on the state level of the WCG. She was a teacher’s assistant at Kerr Elementary School for the second grade in Mesa, AZ. She also worked for the United Blood Services of AZ. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandmother, Mollie Hassel and two brothers: William L. Miller of Kalamazoo, MI and Donald J. Miller of Lake Placid, FL and her dear friend Marie Sutley. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Doris Miller of Lake Placid, FL, 2 nieces, Cynthia Miller O’Brien of Lake Placid, FL and Jennifer Miller Morgenstern of Roseville, CA; 1 nephew, Bryan James Miller of Transfer, PA, and several great nieces and nephews. Also she shared a home with Caroline and Catherine Rexford. The visitation will be at 9:00 am Thursday September 29, 2011, followed by the funeral service, officiated by Rev. Virgil Brainard, at 10:00 am both services are at Mountain View Funeral Home Chapel, 7900 E. Main St., Mesa, AZ
