After a prolonged illness Rick found peace the morning of Sept. 6th, 2014 in Mesa, AZ. Rick, was a retired semiconductor maintenance man, born in Phoenix, AZ on April 1st, 1939. Rick was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Ron Tschilar, and his son Michael Tschilar. His survivors include his wife June; daughter Kelly Pazsoldan (Mateo); step-daughters Rae Bolton and Joni Thompson; son Timothy Tschilar (Jennifer); step-son Gary J Bates (Renee); sisters Candi, Joyce and Darlene; 10 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of a service or get together Rick wanted us to remember the way that he enjoyed his life. Each of us will toast his life in our own way; some remembering the way he played his harmonica at parties, others will remember the fun that he had in Mexico or the joy that his boats gave him whenever he was on the lake. Some of us will smile at the good times spent with him in the “Dead Bug Pub” at his home in Overgaard. The memories of the hunting and fishing stories about the “one that got away” will continue to bring us laughter. None of us will forget his sense of humor and crooked smile. Rick will always be in our hearts.
