Wanda Mae Luna (neé Woys), 95, of Chandler, AZ, passed away peacefully on August 4th, 2022 surrounded by her family. Wanda was born and raised in Montrose, CO on her family’s farm. Wanda graduated from Long Beach Polytechnic High school and attended Phoenix College. She and her husband of more than 50 years, Richard A. Luna, lived and raised their three daughters in Phoenix, AZ. After many years of service, she retired from the Arizona Highways Magazine and filled her time volunteering and attending church. She will be remembered for her kind and compassionate heart, sense of humor, and most importantly, her role as a devoted and loving mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard, daughter Mary Webb, granddaughter Pamela Salazar and brother Walter Woys. She is survived by her sisters Almeda “Al” Weaver and Wilma “Wyck” Kain, daughters Pamela Ulrikson and Robin Goldman (George), son-in-law Fred Webb,  grandchildren Paul (Julie), Kristen (Scott), Erin (Shafu), Trygve, April (Rich), Cameron (Thomas), Toren (Leon) and 13 great grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

    OMG…. I am sitting here crying , remembering all our Sunday dinners, Dick and Don’s bowling league, and our fun Car Cub rallies. I’ll never forget her great spaghetti sauce ….yummmm! ( even if Karie didn’t like it and told her so 😂)
