Passed Away on May 27, 2019


Mesa — Warren Thomas (Tom) Hall, Jr 75, died Monday, May 27, 2019 – Memorial Day; at home surrounded by his loving family after a long battle with cancer.

Mr. Hall is survived by his wife of 57 years , Maxine; two children: Charles (Sari) Hall of Mesa, and Pamela Hall Blaine of New Milford, CT. He also leaves behind 6 grandchildren: Robert (Brittany) Hobe, Kassandra Hobe, Stephanie (Stephen) Carey, Timothy (Ali) Hall, Joshua and Nicholas Blaine;  7 great grandchildren: Kaylin and Caileb Carey, Nathaniel Mardis, Giovonni Zeidler, Frederick and Thomas Hobe Allen, and Victoria Hobe; and  Two sisters in Indiana, Patricia (John) McKitrick and Cathy (Tim) Warner.

Tom is a veteran of the Vietnam War. He dealt with the ravages of war and the effects of agent orange for many years. Through all his trials, he always believed that life was an adventure to be lived to the fullest.  He and Maxine worked hard for many years including owning a successful flower shop and they vacationed all around the world. His favorite being the islands.  After retiring it became his mission in life to give back to all the veterans who needed assistance.  He tirelessly worked to donate Christmas cards, pallets of water, clothing, bicycles, furniture, and whatever else they needed.  He took pride while taking sandwiches and water to the homeless veterans in Phoenix every Christmas Eve until he was not able to. Thank you to his community for all of the donations and help with this mission.  Private services will be held at The Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Arizona. A celebration of Tom’s life will be held this Saturday, June 1, 2019 from 3 to 6pm at the clubhouse in Palmas Del Sol 6209 E. McKellips Rd Mesa AZ 85215
