It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Zane “Zaney” Arrendale who left this world far too soon on November 17th, 2023. Known to many as Zaney, Zane was a free-spirited soul born on April 22nd, 1996, whose adventurous, kind-hearted, clever, and humorous essence touched the lives of many.

Zane’s life, while it may seem brief, was vividly marked with ceaseless exploration and learning. As an embodiment of curiosity, he taught those around him to continually test the boundaries of their comfort zone and explore new paths. His adventurous spirit led him to experience life in places like Tennessee, Flagstaff, and Atlanta. Forever reminding us to create our own path, rather than to follow the one etched by others.

Among the many life lessons he shared, Zane’s greatest legacy lies in his authenticity. Zane lived his life unapologetically, embracing his individuality and inspiring others to do the same. His mantra “Opinions don’t matter. Be yourself. Unapologetically.” resonates with all who knew him and will continue to inspire generations to come.

Zane leaves behind his dear parents Missy and Zane, sisters Britany and Brandie, brother-in-law Mirza, nephews Oakley and Cyrus, niece Mirella. In addition, a host of cherished relatives and friends that span the country from Arizona, Georgia, Tennessee, and South Dakota. He may not be among us physically, but his spirit thrives in the countless memories we’ve shared and the lessons we’ve learned from him.

As we mourn his passing, we also celebrate his life, knowing that his journey was as remarkable as the man himself. May his soul find peace and joy in the great adventure that lies beyond. Rest in peace, Zaney, a Queen who lived life on his own terms and left an indelible mark on all who knew him.
