9/11 25 Years Remembrance Ceremony

Twenty-five years later, we still remember.
Our Vice President, Elisa Krcilek, spoke with Fox News about Apache Junction’s 25th anniversary memorial ceremony for September 11. Elisa serves on the event committee, and Mountain View is proud to take part.
Please join us.
Friday, September 11, at 8 a.m.
Apache Junction Veterans’ Memorial Park
1001 N. Idaho Road, Apache Junction
The hour-long ceremony brings together city leaders, first responders, schools, and community organizations. Twenty-five groups will each present a wreath, one for every year since the attacks. If you have attended our Veterans Day ceremony, the wreath presentation will feel familiar.
Mountain View will present a wreath, provide water, and hand out commemorative challenge coins to attendees.
Elisa put it this way: “Sept. 11 changed all of us, but what I remember just as much is how people came together afterward.”
Stand with your neighbors. Bring your family.
